Lauren Sobel is a partner in the firm.

Lauren began at the firm as a student in 2000, continued as an associate and is now a partner. Her practice focuses on commercial transactions and international arbitration, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure.

Long involved in the financing of Israel’s largest gas exploration and development projects, Lauren also provides ongoing legal consultation on all aspects of Israel oil and gas market, including storage and transportation. She is experienced in complex cross-border transactions involving multinational corporation, international arbitration, particularly specializing in oil, gas and other energy and infrastructure projects. Lauren also regularly represents infrastructure and high-tech companies in Israel and abroad on a range of corporate and commercial issues, including mergers and acquisitions and international business transactions.

Lauren has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration, both institutional and ad hoc, including representing clients and serving as an arbitrator. She has represented Israeli and international parties, corporations and governments, in complex international cases including multi-billion dollar disputes involving private and public international law issues.
